This past weekend Justin and I watch Savages, with Philip Seymour Hoffman & Laura Linney. I thought it was fantastic. That's one of the things that I love about Philip Seymour Hoffman: no matter what sort of movie he does, it always makes sense. It's like, he morphs into these roles and you forget that he's Philip Seymour Hoffman and then you realize at the end of the movie that it's really him. It's quite a fascinating experience.
Anyway, I saw a trailer for Revolutionary Road today, with Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio and I think it looks excellent.
It's like an ode to Titanic or something. Can't wait to see it.
Also, (obviously) I can't wait to see Burn After Reading. Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt & George Clooney. It's too good to be true.
Cumbria is incredibly beautiful, don't you think? I would love to have a home there someday - the views are breathtaking and the silence humbling, I'm sure. Can you imagine hiking around Lake District National Park with a beautiful camera?
Tommy Martin is incredibly talented resident of the Lake District. Buy some prints if you'd like.
